  • eBay Aeon Tristar Club Cue

I've fallen heir to an Aeon Tristar Club cue with extension piece. I don't play much snooker - anyone able to use it? I've no idea of its value! (Or even if it's woth much!)

I'll give you a tenner for it!
    One day I'll make a century, I've knocked in a 51!

Post some pics. People will need to see it to give you an idea of value. There is a thread or two on here about aeon cues. They were made in Coventry by a guy called Dennis garrison. Aeon also made some cues for hunt and obyrne I think. I use one, and it's a brilliant player. They usually are very good cues.
If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

          Aeon Tristar Pictures as requested

Here are the pics (I hope!). The close-up shows the label plus the connections - the middle connection is for the extension. The cue tip is missing (but I'm sure these are easily and regularly replaced.)

Judging by the pictures, it looks a pretty basic cue, if I was you I'd take the tenner from DWOT!

^^^ +1 ^^^. Unfortunately, it isn't one of Dennis' better efforts. Will probably be a decent player, but on the whole a very basic, cheap cue.
Sorry to say it will probably not be worth a lot, £10 maybe. Any more than that should be thought of as a massive bonus.

Judging by the j.pegs,I must ask "is this a three piece" i.e.centre joint and 3/4 (about 11").If so and the other specs are known e.g.Length,weight,ferrule/tip size and they were favourable, then I would suggest that it might appeal more to the pool players on the forum. Please post specs.Thanks.

Got a bit put off when I read some of the comments on this thread and did not follow through - apologies to anyone who may have been following. The cue is still for sale and can still be seen at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...3&l=8e847fbeb2 - it is 144cm (51") long, centre jointed, weighs .3kb (approx 1 lb) has an extension piece 51cm (20") long and a tip diameter of 9mm (less than 3/8th inch)
