That plain ebony butt would look terrific with a few extra splices, why not get Kev to lengthen it for you?

      Hi Stig

How far below the ferrule does the shaft thickness get to 15mm?

        Hi culraven

Its very expensive to lengthen a cue, the shaft would need to be re-spliced which isn't a cheap job. That could also affect the balance once its done, i'd prefer to keep the cue original.

Its much easier to buy a longer cue in my position, ive not had the North West cue that long so it shouldn't be too difficult to change to another cue, if i'd had it for a long time its something i may have considered.

When i spoke to Kevin i asked him for a nice medium, playable shaft that wasn't too whippy but wasn't too stiff. He said to me that he knew straight away what i was after so i left it in his expert hands. He did a great job, the cue plays really well but its just a bit too short, my game would benefit from a longer cue which ive already bought. Ive gone upto 59 1/4 inches.

This is the best perspective i could get, its not easy taking pics of cues . The shaft is 15mm at the point where the tape measure is.

True, but I'm biased having a north west cue my self, he does make the best playing cues!
            good luck with the sale

If Stig would be so kind as to give a detailed specification of the quilt cover we'd be able to extrapolate all the measurements we could ever need

Lovely looking cue btw Stig. Hope you find a good home for it.

The quilt is a Trevor White, its specially designed for measuring cues. You can see the amount of work thats gone into it, its not for sale before you ask. ...... But saying that, i could listen to offers over £500, i'd throw in the matching pillow case for that.

                    Hi Ian

Approx 21 half inches from the top of the tip, the shaft length from the top of the tip to above the thread of the joint is approx 41 half inches.
