17 inch balance.
This cue came to me and was expecting an old cue. It was bought with missing badge but looked tidy in photos. I was suprised though that cue was in such great condition, stiff and bang straight, no dents. Speaking with the experts, the only conclusion was it was a rough estimate 20 year old replica cue. It did have 18 handscribed into the shaft and is north american ash.
Robin has basically made the cue his own having tapered a hefty amount of the butt and shaft for a more modern slim feel. Refinish, new ferrule and tip, re weight for balance. He has managed to perfect the splices to be dead round and level. His workmanship on the cue has been immense and its feels equally as brilliant as my own Robin Cue.
Decided to stick with maple after all as the grain still so annoying. I cant find any difference in the what they play on snooker table or pool table. Each cue has its own feel whether it be ash, maple or ramin stick.
Selling on here before trying ebay.
