£590 Darren I'm sure you are a bit disappointed with that mate as I know I would be. Good luck in your search for an older 1 piece ultimate anyway mate. Regards, Rob

It looks like it had shot the thread which would explain the price.

The joint had turned to the right slightly by the looks of the photos as the grain didn't match up exactly but that would be sorted by any cue doctor for a few quid. If you can refund the buyer and avoid negative feedback then maybe get the joint realigned then resell it Darren as I remember someone on here had a similar problem with a glover jointed above the slices and he had the joint centred again and it sold so it might be worth thinking about. I didn't mean anything by it but what Rob has just said is spot on. If I noticed it, and Rob noticed it, then other's certainly did also.

Get it down to Parris Cues, refinished, rejointed and putting it back on eBay will get you a fair few quid.

If there's one thing I've worked out over the years it's that people are willing to pay ridiculous money for Ultimates but they have to be perfect for people to part with their hard earned.

If I'm honest I couldn't be happier with the cues I've bought from Andrei regardless of price. Delivery was always fast and he kept his promises. As golden (and other TSF members in the past) said people will pay what they feel the cue is worth to them and if someone makes more profit than you would expect then that's up to them. It's a recession and everyone needs to make money so if Andrei/fedia can make money from buying a JP ultimate at a good price then pay money to send it to John parris to have an SD joint fitted, be retipped & refinished, buy both extensions and a case then sell for a handsome profit there is nothing wrong with that, as ive already mentioned I've bought a few different cues from him with no problems. As for some of the other things I've seen him accused of on this forum (ie doctored receipts) I dont know any of the facts but if they are true then that's another ball game altogether. Anyway thanks Andrei for the cues. Also thanks to Pete.147, mark62 and centurysnooker who are 3 other TSF members I have purchased cues from without any problems and they were all lovely cues. Sorry Darren for highjacking your thread and good luck on the sale. Cheers, Rob

Thanks to rob s and golden for their advice!!!
