One of my close m8's is selling this superb condition Adams CQ6 cue. Incredibly, he is the original owner. He bought it 25 years ago from National Billiards in Burnaby, BC. At the time, back in 1987, he paid $350 CDN for the cue so these cues were not cheap cues even then. I know from talking with an ex-pro recently that these cues are selling to collectors for well above the original price in this condition. Reason for sale: My m8 doesn't use it anymore as he uses a Gauthier 2 piece cue. I guarantee the cue is in excellent condition for it's age. Most importantly, there is no damage to the wooden male and female thread and no cracks in the joint.
I recently had a chance to play with this cue and I can tell you it has a very unique and responsive hit. Anyone who owns an Adam's cue can tell you how it plays. I'm not really sure of the lineage of these cues. I always thought they were made in Canada but now I hear they might have originally come from Japan. If you have further insight into the Adams cue, please do share.
Tip diameter: 10.5mm
Butt diameter: 29.5mm
Weight: 17.4oz
Interested parties, please send me a PM or email mayur@fullmotiongroup.com.
Thanks.
