  • eBay Two old handmade 1 piece cues

I have just aquired two old handmade cues , one is a Joe Davis " Champion " and the other is a Taylor's " Balanced Cue " of 110 Princes St. Edinburgh . Both cues are 1 piece and unmodified . Can anyone tell me anything about these cues and how much they are worth ? I could post some photos up once i work out how to do this if this would help .

    Thank You

Couple of very nice cues there, i won't hazard a guess at value, as they seem to be all over the place at moment.

No idea on the Taylor cue!

If I were selling the JD 135 I'd want £150-175 for it, again if it was full length and in general good nick.

I saw these both yesterday, the Taylor cue could definately be used for snooker while the Joe DAVIS is probably a bit whippy. As you'd expect both need a bit of a tidy up but no major work, i think might be one of the top of the splices on taylor is slightly damaged but would be an easy fix. Taylor cue's as you can imagine were pretty popular up here and the one's i had played fine.

I've aquired another old cue , exactly the same as the Taylor only this one is maple and is machine spliced . If anyone can give me any info on any of these three cues and valuations , I 'd be very grateful .
                  Cheers, George
