  • eBay Barrauda Old Masters

I bought this cue about 17 years+ ago while in college to use during extended free periods. I do not know anything about cues/brands etc. I've used it for less than 100 hours. At the time, a friend's mum used to work for Barracuda. I didn't want a 3/4 because it's awkward to transport so I had a 1/2 (or whatever you call it) made.

I've weighed it at 19oz. There is a sticker type thing on the butt which says 19 1/2.
I've tried measuring the tip which is quite difficult and I make it 10-11mm (but I could be wrong)
I'm not sure on the length as I do not currently have a tape measure available.

Is this cue worth anything? I've tried auction site but there doesn't seem to be any to compare with.

I've included some links to pics. No idea how to thumbnail and a direct image link doesn't show properly in preview.

      Hi,
If its the one that I am thinking of they where based around the Kirkham area near Blackpool.
I think that the old master was one of there better cues at around £260 at the time?
There was also the grand master which was slightly dearer!
As far I knew at the time ( mid 90's I think) when the company shut down a couple of guy's bought most of the stock to sell on.
I have not seen a barracuda cue for ages but then in the last few years I have seen a lot of barracuda pool cues? Not sure if a new company has started up or the old one re-started.
I am sure that there are a few people on here who will know all the details and infact let me know I have a couple of facts wrong but I am going to blame on old age........

Barracuda pool cues, I think this is a non-related make to the old UK-company.
        Up the TSF! :snooker:
