I've always used blue diamond tips as they suit my game but some people say they are spongey so i had an elkmaster tip fitted by cue craft and its hard as nails!!! i can hardly rough it up... Is it just that i'm used to blue diamond tips??? Help with advice please... Is there a tip thats inbetween??? should i just stick to what i know or is it all in my head???
Try diamond plus tips, these tips are like a good Blue Diamond each time.
I think these should be perfect for you.
I always used to play with Blue Diamond tips then my mate came across the Talisman soft tips, i had a few shots with his cue to see if i liked the feel and they are fantastic. I put one on my cue and its been superb, a better feel and they are so grippy which gives you confidence. I doubt very much that i'll use any other kind of tip unless something special comes along.

It is best to buy them in 11mm size and trim and shape it, you get and life out of it and plus there won't be any problem with layers coming off.As recently some people had the same problem while using a 9mm or 10mm size.

I buy mine from ADR (Andrew) on the forum, he only sells the Talisman 11mm soft for snooker. I agree with what you say, they are very nice tips and give you a lot of confidence.
