eBay, there are folk that advertise replacement or replica badges on there.

I was going suggest that in my original post but loathe to give those sellers business- name badges yes but replica badges no. I wonder how many cues have been sold as real with those badges fitted

Yep agree with that Rob .

I wanted Trevor to put a name badge at the end of a mini butt , but he won't do it anymore after he found that someone had taken one out of a mini butt and stuck it in another makers cue !

£45 say for a mini butt , then swap the badge with another cue and sell it for £500 plus to some poor individual !!!
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Greed.. it's the way of the world these days. Isn't it sad.....

Has anyone ordered a badge off that guy on the bay? I just cant see them being that good and think they would be easy to tell they int right...

They are printed with a clear film on top aren't they from what I gather?

Agree totally, easy to spot when you know what to look for, but Lots of people out there that don't. Riles me that Ebay allow such items to be sold.

Sad times we live in! I'd imagine it's the same with all the top end cue makers. Only way around the errm butt issue would be to fit maybe a 'customised' by............. on it, like Parris, Coutts etc...do.

                      name discs

The cheap ones off eBay are utter toss. Bought a personalized one for my old cue, they're just two pieces of clear acrylic (?) with paper inside. Avoid.

I felt a bit dirty typing it, but it's hard if someone genuine needs a replacement, I'm glad to see they are crud and should be avoided.

I know what you mean...yuck. Surely though how many times would you need a replacement badge? I'm sure the decent cue makers would always fit a replacement badge, maybe have to send them the cue to be verified and fitted.

The cue makers could always have a different badge made up specifically for mini butts. For example a Trevor white badge with mini butt instead of hand made, that goes for all cue makers. I am sure the cue makers would sell more of their mini butts by having them badged and dare say most folk would be happy to pay abit extra to have the cue makers badge.
