  • Help, Cue Wanted!

    Hi

I am a new member and have recently had my 3/4 cue stolen from my club

I need to replace but don't want to wait 8 weeks! Type of cue required is a 3/4 handspliced ash, 57.5"-58" long, 10mm tip and 18oz in weight.(extension and mini butt would be good!)

Possibly looking for a second hand (due to price), Roger Osbourne, Northwest, or even a JP or Wooldrige if not too expensive. Been looking on e-bay but vey wary of fakes, and when a good un' appears, it disappears before the end of bidding time! Had some comms with ADR147 he has been very helpful on advising what are cheap imports etc.

Anyone out there with a good stick, please get in touch.

    Thanks, Nick

I've had 2 parris cues and just started playing with an O'min. Must say, feels ok if a little light up top.

Try Welsh Pool Trading, aka Bitter on this forum. I'm sure he'll be able to find you something good and new for a good price.

Dave Coutts of Coutts cues quite often has good used cues taken in on part ex; you could try him on 01522 883083.
Il n'y a pas de problemes; il n'y a que des solutions qu'on n'a pas encore trouvées.

Hi Mate thanks for reply, if p.m means other than reply to this thresd, then as a new member i have not got the priviledges as yet! I think I might go for a slightly more expensive cue, If you wanna e-mail me direct with other cues you may have please feel free. nickcohen@live.co.uk

Hmmm not really near anywhere I know.
Craftsman is a good call. It's best if you can visit yourself.

I took the wife to Leeds for the Weekend three years ago and suggested we just pop into Craftsman. I spent a fun 2 hours in there and met Dominic Dale. Not sure wife liked it.

It's not a massive showroom and it's pot luck what they have in but you can spend a bit of time and play on a pool and snooker table.

Dave Coutts is probably nearer though but not close.

                          Anybody here from past Birmingham?

London doesn't count unless you fancy spending £500 Nick?
