The plasitc tube works very well. I have sent and received a lot in this way.
But be sure that the tube is under 150cm lenght because that is the maximum most parcel service accept.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

There are some end caps available at DIY shops.
You can also put some hard cardboard on the ends of the tube and wrap it with gaffer tape.

But stuffing some bubble wrap and the gaffer tape will do. I have sent and received quite a lot of cues this way without any problems.

Alternatively use the hard paper tubes. For them you get also plastic end caps.

And to make it double put the plastic tube in the cardboard tube.

                Ya Jellibeen69...
the plastic tubes work great... a couple of sponge rubber balls rammed in the ends with gaffer tape over is good closure... if you're super paranoid you can secure each end, compressing them in a vise, drilling holes and sawed-off bolt them closed.
That method makes it look like some kind of pipe bomb so you can be sure it'll be handled with extra care!

                =o)

Get a 2" tube and go to a fishing shop. They have rubber ends for tubes you can get there. 2 bits of sponge and some tape and wont go anywhere.
