questions on MW cues

hi guys, i got a few questions for MW custom cues.
is it the more expensive the better wood is being used to craft that cue?

or it's just the veneer and splices that make one cue costs more bucks?

and are they all made by Mike himself or his staffs make them?

As I've been looking at his cues lately I'll answer all I can, his 'custom' cues that are some of the more pricey are made from the best wood that can be found whereas his other series of cues like the shark series is made out of still a very high quality wood but not as good as the customs.
