I'm fairly new to the game (4 months) and I'm looking to buy a new cue but I've no idea where to start or what to spend the only thing I do know is that I would like a heavy cue. Any help would be great.
Hi,
do you have already figured out the length of the cue and the tip size that suits you best?
For about 120 GBP you will get a decent cue, plus extensions and case. So 200 to 250 will be a good budget for a nice package.

Hi, we always recommend trying the cues out if possible before purchasing. All cues vary in length, weight & tip size which all affect how the cue plays.
There is no set rule for what weight, length or tip size a cue should be as everyones tastes are different. Trying the cues out first means you can try a selection and walk away with the cue which feels the most comfortable for you.
Hope this helps.
You are welcome to trade the cue in against another. All i'm trying to point out is that even if you buy a cue elsewhere make sure you get to the try the cue out first.

I'm looking for around 22oz. I used a friends cue which was about that weight and a smaller tip than mine, I found it a great cue to use unfortunately he won't sell it to me lol
