i recevied my new 1 piece gbl champion c5 cue this morning from stu green at greenbaize i ordered it yesterday lunch time got the cue at 9am today.
i was a bit hesitant at first as i have never come across 1 of these before but after talking with stu he assured me they where quality cues and it hasnt dissapointed.
the cue itself is as well made as any i have seen before (and i have seen and played with the lot) it as a lovely taiper and a real quality ash shaft. the ebony is flawless very black and as some very nice pieces of burr the splices are all perfect and i mean perfect the points top and bottom are as even as i have ever seen and the badge is so flush its undetectable when you run your hand over the butt. the finish of the cue is also very high for the price bracket these cues are in they realy are a good buy blows the socks of any master cue/omin cue i have ever seen.
i have just spent an hour in the club knocking some balls about and the preformance of the cue does'nt dissapoint either.moving the white around the table is simple and it screws back with ease the cue as a nice solid shaft but gives a great feel when playing the shot. i would recommend these to anyone thinking about getting a new cue absolutly top class.
