  • How to make a snooker cue

So I was wandering around the web trying to find out how you make cues with a view to "giving it a go" sometime in the future (I can almost feel the pro cuemakers cringe).

Anywoo I came across this website...

    http://www.ehow.com/how_4610767_snooker-cue.html

I'm guessing it's a bit more complicated than that....

Hahahahahahahahahahahahah!! He-he-he! Yes, just a little bit, but thanks for sharing - that brightened up my morning!

This is the bit I like the best:

    "Things You'll Need:
New or used snooker cue wood (ash, maple and ebony are preferred, but any wood will suffice) Wood glue Electrical Tape Ferrul (new or used) Butt (new or used) Tip "
Il n'y a pas de problemes; il n'y a que des solutions qu'on n'a pas encore trouvées.

"Glue the butt to the other end of the snooker cue."

I sincerely hope that custom cues are not built this way. LOL

How to Treat Menstrual Cramps With Magnetic Therapy

                    Step 1
Make sure you use static magnets to treat your menstrual cramps. Static magnets are similar to the ones used on fridges. Static magnets create fields that are unchanging, meaning that they won't suddenly increase or decrease in efficacy
                    .

                    Step 2
Read the directions enclosed with your magnets. Typically, to treat menstrual cramps, you attach the magnets to your underwear, wear underwear with magnets sewn in, or hold them in place with a belt. If you wear tight clothes, it may be possible to see the magnets, depending on the product you're using.
                    .

                    Step 3
Plan on using the magnets for three to six sessions before you notice relief. Relief from menstrual cramps probably won't be instantaneous. Some researchers believe you can become "used" to magnets, decreasing their effectiveness. In order for them to be the most effective, take them off as directed.
                    .

                    Step 4
Wait one hour after eating before using your magnets. Magnets may interfere with digestion and the normal muscle contractions of your digestion system.
                    .

                    =o\

                          I've found a good one...

How to fix a dent on a pool or snooker cue
Got a dent in your cue? If it isn't a seriously big dent, you can easily attempt to fix it or level the dent slightly.

1 Find the dent on your cue, you can mark it with a pencil which can be easily rubbed off.

2 Put a small drip of water on the dent, let it soak it. Do not use too much water.

3 Now leave you cue to dry.

                          http://www.ehow.com/how_2279736_fix-...ooker-cue.html

                          Spectacularly helpful one this one

I guess if you want a bigger tip on your cue you just dip it in the bath and it expands?
