      No bet, Steve!

Ye I agree Keith, very hit-n-miss. I've tried quite a few of the Chinese cues players over here have bought- JX, Waslin, Robin Scott, MA (the ones with the hilarious stories) etc . And find some of them are pretty good and some are crap, just luck I suppose. But if I was going for a Maple it would have to be from a reputable maker. Best Maple ones I've tried are Trevors , but the Glover ones I've tried were very nice aswell

I bought a couple of Kevin sharland cues off ebay when i went a bit cue happy and started buying loads just for the hell of it.

The 3/4 cue i bought was better quality than the 1 piece, however both were amazing value for money but then at the end of the day you get what you pay for!

I would definitely recommend them to someone starting out in the game, both these cues cost me i think ÂŁ60 and ÂŁ80 with a leather look case.

However my 3/4 cue from the rack at glovers is by far better quality!

oops! sorry i forgot about this, on the 1 pc cue the splices are painted on, im sure of it.

but the 3/4 is far far better quality.
