Hello all,
I looked at a machine spliced cue carefully, and imagine that the butt part is made by a cylindrical rosewood and with 4 sharp ebony points sticked to the main shaft. But how are the 4 sharp points being made? It looks to me that you need to shape the 4 sharp points before sticking to the shaft, which seem to be even more difficult to make compared to a handspliced cue.
Can anyone correct my misconception if i am wrong? thanks a lot
