Do everyone know which cue maker could make replica cues

    Tony Glover & Tony Ions.

Agreed, Andy, but he's sooo busy at the mo, I didn't even dare mention his name!

Really? What are you ordering, then, Mark?

Yes really. Same design as my new Robin cue... Ebony butt,4 olivewood splices, red veneers, remember I said that I would love to have same cue from various cue makers. It is ideal opportunity to start collecting cues

why qwould you want a replica cue apart from to stick on display???

get a cue you like to play with yourself and go from there, sod names etc, just find a cue YOU like to play with

I think his new address is: aeions@hotmail.com or aeions@hotmail.co.uk and I know his 'phone number is: 0044 191 241 1198.

Personally, I'd ask Tony Glover to make a cue for you, as I know from personal experience that Mr. Ions is not always 100% reliable, especially with overseas customers. I ordered 2 butterfly splice cues from him in 2006 (!!) and I'm still waiting for them. Tony Glover, on the other hand, is a wonderful cuemaker and totally reliable.

i would agree totally. Tony Glover is getting into replica cues in a big way just now, I recently sold one of his and it was superb in every detail. He or should I say his wife makes the badges, right down to putting a brownish tint on them rather than having them very white in appearance.

i had a Burwat Champ replica from Trev a while back which even he acknowledges was as good as he could possibly make a cue and know he has done several Mannock replicas which were superb also
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

I would agree with Archalf1471 having seen Tony Glovers replicas & compared them with original's, they are exceptional in every respect, the attention to detail, overall finish & the authentic look of the badges in particular is first class.
Tony Ions replicas are also very good, i've not seen one of Trev's but would expect those to be exceptional, but would have no hesitation in recommending Tony Glover....as good as it get's for replicas in my view.
