question about buying a cue

I have bought my first custom made cue about year ago... And then after six months I have ordered another snooker cue.. But as I am playing national pool league I have decided that I need to buy another cue this time for pool. So suddenly I have 3 custom cues(from same cue maker) and I have realized that I am just making excuses to order a new one Anyone with the same problem?
I am just amazed with the quality of the cues and I really enjoy having some nice cues Anyone with same experience?

I LOVE custom made cues a lot!!!Sometimes I think if I had enough money I'd buy them ALL!!!=))))
I just moved to Canada from Belarus.Because of the financial problems back home I couldn't afford a pool cue.To tell the truth I had to save for my cue for a year!!!
But now I got some money coming and I'm going to buy some cues!
I already have a custom one for Russian Pyramid and an older Joss.
In the near future I'm planning to get a custom MARVEL from Trevor White or Mike Wooldridge, newer Schon and one more custom cue for Pyramid (about 40 ebony splices!!!) =))))))
My friends say that I'm crazy,but.... I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same as me But 40 splices? Is that even possible? Joss are great cues... I have played with one or two... You are not crazy lol. They just don't appreciate the art of cue making

I don't know,man...
It depends how you count here...
Because at home we count 2 splices for 1!
but you would probably count it as 2 splices.
so we have 40 rows of ebony splices ( 50% ebony 50% veneers)
it turns out to be 20 RUSSIAN ebony splices and 40 American ebony splices! =))))))))))))))))
and it's not that expensive....
i mean it's expensive for us,but for you guys...

Those cues for russian piramyd are nice... But maybe a bit over the top for me. What is the price for one of those?
