Mw black shark splicing?.......

Been looking for pics of a mw black shark and can find plenty of reviews and good comments but cant find many pics of the splicing....

I would like to see some pics of the cue from different angles of the splicing.

On the pics i did find it looks like the shark has a "flat" spot at the bottom of the splicing and not being tight lines as i would prefer...

Am i right in thinking they have a "flat" at the bottom of the splices?

Defo thinking of getting 1 in the new year but not sure if i like the look of the "flat" bit...

No doubt the cue is a top cue for the price but dunno if i like a butterfly splice "look", i know it shouldnt be about the "look" but you know.................

Never really seen any butterfly cues close up, so dunno if i actually like just the 2 splices...do they look sweet in the flesh or are they not so pleasing to the eye as a 4 splice? ....

I need pics of in between the bottom splice joins to clear the last little bit of confusion in my fried brain before i go for the buy in the new year...

Or if anyone in south wales has a shark that will let me have a looksy let me know...

Am i right in thinking they have a "flat" at the bottom of the splices? The shark has a flat point yes. The butterfly splices are either side of the cue if the badge is facing up, and the bottom of the splice is in the middle.

Been looking for a cue on and off for a while now, it just confuses me and i end up just not getting round to it, i'm determined to get 1 in the new year this time round but still it just fries my brain, i was defo gonna order a shark in my head yesterday but now i dunno. I just think too much about it and it confuses the ............outta me.

I just dont know what to do...


I'm pretty sure theres not much better to be had for same price but still i dont know about the butterfly splicing see....

I dont actually know as ive never had one off Mike. I have done some work for him you see and know pretty much the whole range. Watch out in the new year for the custom splice sharks

Anyone got any opinions on the look of a butterfly splicing compared to the look of a 4 splice then?...

I'll prob end up ordering 1 anyway (i think) .. while i work my way up to a tw in time..

I dunno, i might have a look at these custom sharks after xmas and see how much they increase in price...
