Hi all!
Why snooker cues not using leather or linen wrap on butt as we see on pool cues?
Moreover most good(hand made) snooker cues produced with the same smooth finish on butt as on shaft. But, we need less friction only on shaft, not on the butt.
This absolutely not helps to keep nice lose grip, because you need to hold it tightly otherwise it's tend to slip out.
I am experimenting with some linen tape on butt and it's
create so much difference ... more cue control on shot.
If not use wrap, maybe different type of finish on butt will helps, but i did not see any snooker cue made with diff type of finish on butt\shaft
In snooker i see only Quentin Hann was using tennis tape on his cue butt.
Any opinions?
Regards
