  • Appreciate some feedback, please. Thanks.

I would like to hear what you all think about this.
I am thinking of placing my badge a bit lower like what is shown on the left.
Shown on the right is what I used to do.
If the pic on the left with the green background is A, and the one on the right is B--which do you prefer? A or B?
    Thank you.

I prefer the higher placement of the badge that you have been using previously... but I guess this is just another personal preferance thing.

      Mate,

Maybe you can post a pre & a post of the position where you place the badge, it will be easier for those who does not own your cue to see the diff.

To me, i refer the "A" lower positioning of the badge which you will be adopting.
Will love a darker & thicker font for the badge thou.

I prefer the badge higher up as they are now , though i think it will look nicer a fraction lower , but not as low as the first . :snooker::snooker:

"A" looks good for my money

I much prefer the B position, but is seems that it is different for everbody.
How about splitting the difference, then it will still look ok. Should please everbody then.
What is the splice on B?

                  B.
I think that the lower placement of the badge is more elegant.

                    Does it really matter?

We don't use the butt to play... Unless I've been using the wrong end all these years!? :snooker:

Thanks everyone, please keep the feedback coming.
It may not be important to you but it is to me--it is where I put my name on my work.

Agree. As a meticulous graphic designer, I do think that tiny little difference does matter.

To me, A is a bit too low whereas B is too high (unless the angle of the pic tricked me). I'd say somewhere in between. But if I have to pick one, I'll go for A

Personally I like position B as it is different to the other cue makers I have seen who mainly opt for position A. I think position B elegantly shows off some of the wood below the badge which creates a nice balance. Keep up the great work, you are an artist sir !

I would go for half way between A and B.

What he said - sometimes "different" is good
