His actual comment was that he would take this offline and not continue this thread as was requested by another poster, not that he did not want to communicate with you.
Have you actually tried to contact him since it is obvious that the previous emails went awry?
yes
photos and full description of my grievances
nothing from him but he did post here twice since then so I assume he is not interested in my problems. Like I said I just don't care anymore
Sorry to hear of your problems with Andy's cues sanman (still not sure of the exact problem tho ?? are shafts warped/dented/square or what ???)
I recently bought one from him and the only problem ive got is the cue was lighter than quoted, but ime trying to give it a fair chance - having several cues to choose from doesnt help, and i know i shouldnt chop and change, but eventually i'll settle on just 2, a playing cue & one back up - see pics for Andy Travis cue - i like the black joint especially - what do forum members think of it

Nice pictures. Thank you.
What are the numbers on the badge, is that a phone number?
Who did the join on your burwat? Have the grains stayed in line over time?

Yes - that is a phone number on the badge
Joint was done on cue before i bought it, done by Craftsmans cues.
This is similar to the Ye Olde Ash cue on the forum at the moment in that it has had a new shaft made for it - i didnt know that at the time of buying it but i didnt pay top dollar for it, and as it happens it is a really good playing cue, which may not have been the case if the shaft was original. If i was a "real" collector i wouldnt have bought a jointed cue in the first place, but just wanted to have one
The grain is a pretty good match on the underside of the cue but the top isnt at all, ive been applying linseed oil to it regularly to try and get a better colour match (see below)
The Andy Travis join looks very similar to that used by viking cues in america and they have a nice natural hit to them. Haven't seen anything like it for snooker or UK pool cues. If it's not ebony to ebony, what are the faces of the join made of? Phenolic?

Not quite sure what phenolic is
Ime sure in the ad Andy said it was black acrylic, its a bit different to the usual brass fittings and i for one cant tell any difference in feel
As cally said its a Welsh Pool Trading cue, (made by MasterCraft actually), and you obviously know your cues as Mike does indeed use this design too, saw it recently on a Shark series cue
