          I think I remeber seeing a thread where someone said Joe Davis' actual playing cue was displayed in a museum in Liverpool. Good luck to the guy selling the cue if he gets a grand for it though.

            That was probably when it was not only Joe's own cue but the very cue he lent to his brother Fred who used it in the 1978 World Championships & reached the semi final aged 64 years......but he's not sure on the last part now so its been reduced

                  Looks genuine to me as well Andrew . What do you reckon £250 - £300 over market price ?

                      I sent the guy a message on eBay and he removed some of the description. I just hope he wasn't missold the cue.

                              Im sure these cues are normally machine spliced Andrew ?? (this one is hand spliced)
