Thank's for all the Reply's:snooker: I haved watched Jimmy for year's, He has alway's played with a long Ebony butted cue, But this one seem's a bit different as the badge is alot further up the butt than normal?

I'm sure someone here will correct me, but IIRC it's due to him having so many replacement ferrules on this cue, that over the years it's become shortened. To keep the length of the cue to how he likes it, an extension was added to the butt?

I think someone on here said something along those lines a while back...

Jimmy knows his game better than we do, but I always remember the Hunt & O'Byrne he played with up to @ 2000 or so? He reached 5 World Finals and made his max in 1992 with this cue.

No idea why he got rid of it. All the mind I guess...

He also bought it from Alex Higgins for £300 i think...
