  • Antique cues restoration, good cuemakers

    Hello,
In your opinion, how are the best cuemakers to contact to restore antique cues. Of course it depends of the cue condition but when you do that, you want the cue to be as a good as best exemples of antique cues.
Respect of the original specifications (touch as less as possible the shaft particulary)
    Prices, time
Others points you think are important.
    Thank you.

I think all Cuemaker's can restore antique cue's. It might depend on your budget and location.

I also think most cue makers could restore it.

I know Robin Cook gets a fair few old cues to be renovated and his work is top notch.

If the cue has any value at all, leave it alone.

          Hi,
I use to work with Robin Cook for that. He is fast, the job is well done, and his prices are excellent. He actually has a tom newman 1370 facsimile cue, a tom newman 1370 record, a burwat champion and a stevenson champion in his hands.
I hve a Ye olde ash cue restored by Dave coutt. Very good job just the b=necessary on the cue and not much. Very respectfull of the antique cues.
