  • Cue advise - Master Cue ?

    Hi

I'm looking for some recommendations on cue makes.

I have around £150 to spend and looking at various different makes am quite keen on the Mastercue PB4.

My brother uses a Craftsman 147 cue which seems to be a good quality cue but I prefer the designs of the Mastercues.

    Any help much appreciated.

The person that I usually play against has one and it is awesome. Well made and perfectly balanced. He says that the service was excellent too. Can't go wrong with it.

Andrew the 3/4 Joints have now been Changed to Different Design as there were a few Dodgy Joints at One Stage as we know too well. But thats why they Changed Design so Now Sorted.

                      Very good cues indeed.
I met Ukrit in Bangkok some years ago. Friendly but very professional guy. His Snookerclub is also much better than the most Clubs i saw around Europe.

Well, the joints wasnt the best. I had have some problems with them also. (Butt joint)
I dont know if he uses better joints now. Never saw a brand new Mastercue the last 2 years.
mind control > body control > cue control > ball control

I will second that, now there is no problem whatsoever with the joints.

that's good mate, i would vote for the master cue as well. after reading and tried/owned a few cues, now i'm in love with my Master cue. looks like i have found the right cue too.

Hi, Im pretty new to the forum and just re-started playing after 23 year gap, I started with a cheap cue, and found it quite good. I then decided to buy a better one but on a whim got one I thought was good. Used it once it was bleedin awfull.
The best thing I did was go to a snooker hall or shop where I could get advice on how the cue was made and try them out on a table, ok if you are going to spend a lot off money on cue you want it to feel good even before you get to play a few games. Dont forget a cue is for life not just for Xmas. good luck. Choose carefully.
