  • Just about to order my TW Cue

    Hi everyone

I am just about to order my trevor white cue but unsure which one to go for as i have got about 5 cue design that i like. I thought i would post them to see what your thought of them are.

Any feedback would be good as i will be ordering one next week.

This one looks quite elegant however may look a little outdated but thats just my opinion

This one i see quite regular as a JP cue as most people like the design of this. So not sure about this as it would be same as most others except its made by TW instead.

This one i think is one of them that isnt too fancy but is a great looking cue.

Again i think this one is a little different to what most people have so its something different.

With this one i also like however not sure if i should have it with olive wood also with the white and purple veneers like in picture two instead of the orange coloured wood. What is your thoughts?

Again another elegant looking one but may look a bit outdated but again my own opinion.

These cues are all great cues just want people opinions on what they would like best as now i narrowed it down to this few i cant decide.

So whats is everyone else's thoughts? :snooker:

Its all just personal taste at the end of the day, but i dont like the 1st 2 pics for the same reasons as you state, i absolutely love the 3rd one as a bit of bloodwood really does it for me , i could also easily live with the 4th one, but the 5th & 6th pics altho nice design is just a bit too fancy for my taste.
What specs are you going for ??

If you want a Trevor White cue be quick, as the queue gets longer every day!!

I am going for somewhere around a 9.8mm tip probably obviously going to be 58" regarding weight i like a slightly heavy cue than a light one but will talk to trevor about that when ordering it.

Gerry yes i know the queue is getting longer but i am willing to wait which Trevor knows i am.

they are all lovely but i would choose the 3rd one... nice contrast between the front badge splice with the 4 lower splices.

i am thinking that either 3 or 4 is the favourite at the minute. However i think the 3rd picture is for a younger person maybe and the 4th for an older person just due to the woods that are used.

The only issue then is do we go ash or maple? whats peoples thoughts on that.

Well this is a pretty major decision only you can really answer......have you tried both ?? and can you play with either just as well ??....most people can only get on with either ash or maple, not usually a spin of the coin type situation

                              No 4 for me definately.

Not sure what the lower splices are in the picture but I generally like the 4 upper splices + 4 lower splices with thick maple veneers. Should look good anyway round.

                              ebony, maple, cocobolo

                              ebony maple, macassar ebony

                              cocobolo, maple, macassar ebony

anything really, possbily orange cocobolo, maple, red/dark cocobolo.

                              good luck.
