      I've previously successfully fitted joints to 3 cues.
      By fitting the joint at the balance point, it doesn't change the balance of the cue, just increases the weight by the weight of the joint, which is usually about 1 ounce.
      I prefer to use Tungsten rod for weight if needed. It's very dense (19.3)compared to lead (11.3). Also, its fairly inert as opposed to plutonium (19.8) which oxidises rapidly when exposed to air.

        Let us know if you can't get one from craftsman, and I'll give you another contact. Shame I didnt read this before Saturday I went accross to craftsman to help my mate choose a cue!
