The mass of the cue is of a major importance for the playability a feel of the cue.
There are couple of aspects regarding it, e.g. overall mass and balance point. But it's never talked about the mass distribution. Is it just because it doesn't matter at all, or is it alredy predetermined by the woods used? But this would mean, that the woods used for the splices are of some importance for the feel of the cue.
If it's so, what would be the best woods for the splices?
Cheers
