  • Cue Storage

Since my move last month I have created myself a very compact and bijou 'Man Cave' to store all things sport related. Things had been going well until I two of my recent eBay sales yesterday reported the cues as not being straight!?! These cues were perfectly straight and did not think there was any need to check these again before sending.

Having investigated this I have discovered that a couple of the other cues stored there have also developed a slight bend too! This area is directly above my bathroom and I believe that the heat and moisture generated here could be causing the issue.

Has anybody else encountered similar problems?

I had a similar problem years ago. Store in a cool (not cold) dry room and make sure the cases that the cues are stored in are clean and dry.

Is it true that the cue's are meant to be stored upright to stop them from warping. It's just i've had an 8 year old BCE cue under my bed for at least 5-6 years. And it hasn't warped. Yet another cue i bought only last year has.
