Anybody know how about the news of Dan shelton ?

my cue is order from Dan over two and a half years ago. sometimes ago i contant mike and talk to him about my case and need to help, he reply me he will look into this after xmas(2011) and get back to me. but now i haven't hearing about Dan 's news and how about my cue. i'm so very distressed and don't know how to do

i know there is quite alot of money involved about all this but it is not the end of the world ,if you dont get your cue take him to court, but its everybodies fault who have paid up front, a deposit by all means but rest when cue is finished

I know i didnt get a response from my last post but would appreciate some help. I have asked my solicitor to pursue him for my loss but i need to send him a letter of intent by post ir email. I know some of the people on this thread are in contact or criends of his but its important he hS the opportunity to respond to my letter. Before anyone thinks im being a ******* after what he has been through its not about that its the principal of the matter any help with this would be appreciated

i know this is getting boring but...

i just had a (yet another) long conversation with dan.

first, at the risk of repeating myself, i have tried everything i possibly can to get dan to do something. i want people to be clear about this. but to date, no joy.

however, the good news is that he is very positive at the moment and wants me to convey the message that he has absolutely not given up.

in fact he is very upbeat and looking forward to fulfilling his obligations. strange as that may seem given the lack of communication/effort...

i cannot pass on anything more positive than that because the current issue is that he has nowhere to do the actual work. the plan of using a workshop at his parents has not panned out but he is actively seeking somewhere suitable.

so, nothing has actually changed and i'm afraid you all simply have to give him more time.

i fully understand the threats of legal action but, seriously, you cannot get blood out of a stone. the boy is broke.

so hang in there cos i'm still onboard and will help him bang these out as soon as is possible.

I think what mike is doing is beyond the call of anybody. Everybody in life has troubles in Dans case it got out of control....at this stage everybody that is owed cues or money must now know the way things are. This has put a sour taste in many peoples mouth just like Aurora cues.... maybe it time Ferret put a stop to start up cue makers selling there products on the forum and let them sell through ebay or privately.

Disagree, no need for ferret intervention. What the problem of selling a product that's already made?

It's the fact that this boy took multiple orders and couldn't complete them that appears to be the issue that Mike is already kindly helping to sort out.

I have no problem with selling cues on the forum, if somebody makes a cue or cues certainly show them off on here.....if they want to sell them do it privately or on ebay if something goes wrong therefore you have a fall back in place......that all im saying.
