  • Beginners first cue

Hello,I've finally decided to get my own cue. I play down local club and just use the rack cues but would like to improve and think getting the right cue will help. I was hoping to spend in and around £60. Is this enough for a good cue and what sort cue would I be looking?
    Thanks Alan

I think the best thing to do is to use a cue which has an oil finish (not varnished) and a cue which has a good tip on it.

£60 is not enough to buy a quality built cue from a cue maker but you may find a nice machine spliced cue around. I would say a rack cue well finished and decent tip would certainly get you going.

Using the same cue all the time will give you more consistency.
