  • Little brass screws

Anyone have any idea where to get those little brass screws from?
The type that hold the square badges on.
I have a replica cue close to finish and need 4 for the badge.
    Thanks
    Jason

Hi , Jason , strange though it may seem B & Q used to stock size 2 screws in 1/4" (5mm) and 3/8" , also size 4 in 3/8". There is a website called " fixingsandfastenings.co.uk " that still do size 2 & 4 in 3/8" and size 5 &6 in 1/2".Size 2 x 1/4" are getting very hard to find , however if you get really stuck , PM me your home address and I will send you some.Hope this helps.

Tony Glover is sending me some for the cue I'm making at the mo.
Just wondering for any future cues.
              4mm head 9.5mm length
I will have a search round the sites mentioned.

Size 2 x 1/4" is 4mm head diameter x 6mm length , 2 x 3/8" is 4mm x 9.5mm and 4 x 3/8" is 5mm x 9.5mm . You will find that these size measurements are pretty standard across brand names , just look for brass ,slotted , csk , flat , if you can get them there is a pattern with csk/domed , that look better but hard to source.

depends on the style of glasses etc, i used to work in an optical place and they had different sizes, some for them bits on your nose, some for holding the lens in and others for the frames.

Not sure if they would work, they need to be countersunk wood screws.
The size definitions will help loads, should be able to find them from that. Cheers
