  • Mastercue professional...

Thinking of getting a second cue and i like the look of this model (third from the left) Mastercue_011.jpg, i like purple wood with the ebony, haven't decided yet just to buy this or get a cue maker to do something similiar...

    Anyone any experience with mastercue?

they are a good price if i was you i would 1st contact stu green at greenbaize cues and ask him will he match the price i bet he would.
plus you get the added bonus of having stu pick you a nice cue he realy knows his stuff instead of some guy just packing it up and sending it out.

I have to say that none of the cues at snookercues.com are just packed up and sent out. There is a table in their showroom where each and every cue that is sold is checked individually before being despatched and if you give them a ring they will try to find you one with the prefered grain and weights etc. By all means make several calls to different suppliers but the guys at snookercues.com (Blue Moon Leisure) have been selling cues for over 20 years so I think they know their stuff and are certainly worth giving a phone call to discuss.

Thanks for the replies, though i've already decided to go with stu, he's been very helpful and doing a great deal, though because of my prefered spec i'll have to wait 6 months, till it's made by master cue, but it gives me something to look forward to...

Fair enough, your choice Direkt, but if you don't contact snookercues.com you will not know for sure if you are getting the best deal. Certainly if you wanted a cue extension as well, their prices would be hard to beat and they already hold a good selection of Mastercue cues so you never know, they might have your cue spec' already in stock. Anyway, hope you get what you are after.

Sorry if I am re-posting here, New to forums! I do work for Blue Moon Leisure as it happens but I wanted to correct any mis-conception from your statement that Blue Moon Leisure or snookercues.com cues may be just packed up and shipped out by someone who did not know their stuff because they most certainly do know their stuff. We hope Direkt is happy with whom ever he eventually buys his cue with, but the Mastercue cues that Blue Moon Leisure (snookercues.com) supply are exactly the same quality as the ones provided by Stu or any other cue company. The only difference might be in the cost, and quality of the service and customer care and that of Blue Moon Leisure and snookercues.com are up there with the best. Some will say I am bias but I don't want an arguement about it, just stating a fact, and I invite any past customers to add their own comments. Good luck to Direkt!

Since Greenbaize get such good feedback on here my mind was made up pretty quick that i was in good hands, that's not to say snookercues wouldn't be a good option too, i'm sure past customers would recommend blue leisure with no heisitation, i'd quite happily try blue leisure out in the future if need be...

                        Thanks for the heads up...
