Just receieved my first custom made Trevor White UK 8ball Pool cue after a "long" 40 week wait but I must say it was worth the wait!!
Specs are rather extreme and as follows -
Maple shaft (medium flex stiffness)
Ebony, maple and cocobola butt
One piece
51" long
13.5oz
8.5mm tip
28.5mm butt (fully round)
Balance point 15.5"
Mini butt connector
The craftsmanship and finish are excellent and my expectations have been met if not exceeded
I have played with the cue only a couple of times and it plays extremely well. It's maybe slightless less responsive than my current 30 year old Laurel playing cue (13.2oz) and also my Wooldridge cue (14oz 3/4) which perhaps is not a bad thing as I do tend to over hit rather than under hit my shots...
Early days yet and I'm looking forward to getting more intimate with the cue.
I now know why Trevor is regarded as one of the very best cuemakers
