Best cue for £350?

A mate of mine - With much more cash than me - Has indicated he'd like a (Brand) new cue, and his budget is £350 absolute max, so I said i'd ask on here.

What's his best bet? A John Parris Traditional?

I'm not up on the makers etc, so would appreciate opinions, and links if possible.
