you can put whatever price you like on them - never seen one sell for this sort of money yet.

and thats the point! as ADR says the price is wrong if you're not shifting them.

I can say my Northwest is worth £10,000 but would it sell at that (i wish)

the thing that winds me up is the claim that they belonged / made for xyz player.

I'm sure it would be VERY difficult to prove and, I'm sure ADR could say whats what, but would just 'being made for' a player add so much value?

I wouldn't mention it myself as the player obviously felt it wasn't good enough to keep using!

                        1 in 4 . . . probably one in three.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

It's like the six degrees of separation theory for cues!

I was showing Dominic some cue pics when he came to Bendigo. He said "that used to be mine" , "that used to be mine", "that used to be mine", etc, etc . . .

He has certainly had some lovely cues in his day. But he keeps selling them when he needs some money for some new lady friend.
