looking for phoenix cues review + Splicing suggestions

Hi everyone.

I am looking for phoenix cues reviews and pictures of your phoenix cues!

And i am also looking for splicing suggestion as i am thinking of getting a custom..

Thinking of amboyna burr with maple veeners.
But kinda scared it does come out good if the wood isnt red enough and with enough figures..
Is there any splicing that wont disappoint me if it does turn out that good?

I second hotspot's post and say they are great cues!
Bang for buck the best out there as you can get some real corkers!
I had a lovely Trevor White cue last year when I was going through a phase of buying many cues(a bug many can vouch for on this forum lol) and came across a ebony/ash Phoenix cue.
I was comparing my Trevor White which was a fantastic cue/maker to this Phoenix cue and hand on heart could not see any difference in feel, finish or quality......and also played well which is most important!
The shaft has a lovely silky smooth feel and a rich dark golden colour with 4 perfectly placed chevrons that oozed class, so thought best to cash in on TW and keep the Phoenix which I'm so happy with.
