Probably the nicest replica "Ye Olde Ash" cue built. How much will this go for guys?

I was looking at this cue earlier and it went from 99p to £300 + in a few minutes !! £550 is my guess-timate !!

Just read the listing so maybe £750 - £850 could be closer to the mark ??

yeah, won't be cheap mate by any stretch. Look at the craftsmanship and detail put into building this cue, surely its gotta be one of the best replica "Ye Olde Ash" cues around

It will deffo be fiercely contested that's for sure ? But its still a replica plus if all the tour guys like it so much why has it not been sold before now ?? Maybe there are better cues out there for much less !!

Seems unlike Dale to sell a cue, especially one he is rating so highly and a cue he has played with in professional competition.

Nice cue all the same, if I was a collector I would be interested but realistically its not a cue to my taste and the spec is also not to my liking. I can see this going over £1k easily, possibly near the £1.5k mark given the quality and the owner.

I will be surprised if it goes over a grand, with no disrespect to Mr. Dale he isn't really an investable snooker player, years down the line i can't see many collectors even paying anywhere near a £1000!
Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

I think the only reason he's selling the cue is because he's a brand ambassador for Maximus.
He said he only has 2 cues, main playing cue and backup (presumably as close a twin as possible) both are Maximus cues.
I've seen this cue in the flesh - very nice indeed.

Well my highest bid has been surpassed, and got a reply to my query of how stiff the shaft is, answer 9.75 out of 10 !!
Far too stiff for me that, once had a one piece Robin Cook like that, couldn't get on with it at all

I wouldn't be surprised either way, I just think people will spend more on a modern collectable like this and from someone that arguably has more knowledge of cues than anyone. If he says this cue is special then I doubt he is wrong. If a JP Ultimate can fetch over a grand comfortably today then I see no reason that a Glover with a rare wood, used by a 2 time ranking event winner in a Ye Olde Ash style made by Glover can't surpass that.

In fact the more I think about it the more I think on a good day this could even reach 2k!

What If the cue was an original Ye old ash cue and Dominic says its a fantastic cue, would it go for more than the replica from Glover? If it did then it means replicas are worth more than originals!!!
