Anyone got a pool cue the following specs or as close as poss?
wife bought me an expensive 3/4 case for xmas so the shaft has to be no more than 44inches long and that includes the male end of the joint otherwise it wont fit.
length-must be 58inches,im 6'2 so nothing shorter will do
weight-16-17 1/2 ozs max
balance point must be at least 17.5inches,18max.This is very important to me,i hate back heavy cues!
shaft-if ash then MUST be english ash,i dont like north american ash(i call it north american trash)its just not for me,nothing beats english ash!
i dont mind maple, used it for years.
tip size-would prefer 8.0-8.5mm
Im not bothered if it is hand or machine spliced, the importance is it plays!
Playing the nationals at yarmouth end of feb. so trying to sort a cue out before then.the ones i have just arent quite right.
Anybody got one or two for sale?
put them on here or pm me
cheers -Trev
(off for a game, will check back tomorrow)
