  • thinking of adding a front splice

Got a nice exquisite cue few weeks ago and the old saying is never judge a book by the cover it was 9,4 mm tip without playing with it for a few days a took it to my leuge game and won it gives me lots of good cue ball reaction but a think because its tapered a bit more so a have thought about adding a front splice would it make the cue play diffrent or upset the ballance point or would you judt leave it the way it is

Lots of cue porn on "post pictures of your cue"...the Jason Owen thread also has particularly nice cues which may give you ideas.

Maybe post some pics of your cue. Then others can decide

Are you just adding a splice for decoration Stevie?, if it was me I wouldn't , I don't think it will make any difference to the cue, but I don't like to change things, in my mind once a cue has been made, it's meant to be how it is, a kind of karma thing, it's a load of nonsense, I know, but that's how I feel about them.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
