I'm looking at buying a master cue pro butt. Does anyone have experience of master cues and how they play? I'm not too worried about looks or even splices etc, just a nice playing cue. Any views would be appreciated!
I have a mastercue CS1 and it plays great . Loads of folk have had a hit with it and all really like it . I really want a crispian jones cue but the mastercue feels perfect for me so I'm reluctant to change
I have played with several Mastercue cues and owned two..they have all been excellent, well made cues and , more importantly have all played well..they have all been very well balanced with good feel and response. Highly recommended.
I play with a master cue tudor. Great cue especially for the price. Really well made with silky smooth shaft. Tip is a little on the hard side but I'll get used to it!

I bought a 'Tudor' MC off of Andy Gibb about 11 years ago, the best feeling cue i've ever had... Changing to a Mastercue Probutt 3 next month as i've had 2 botched ferrule jobs done recently and don't want the tip/cue getting any bigger/shorter...
I'm just about to post my Mastercue Probutt in the for sale section. It owes me £125 if you're interested. 1 piece in ash. I'm searching fir the thread I purchased it from for the exact specs.
Could not agree more on all counts. Stu @ Green Baize is the best & most helpful dealer on earth with a large stock of Mastercues of all models @ very good prices. May i suggest the MC 3/4 M7 Ash Pyragon they look superb and play even better. I have owned 2 of them plus a Pro Butt 4 and lust after another Pyragon. For the price you cannot go wrong. Regards Dave C.
