  • Thailand cues

    Hey people,

I was just thinking about this. As far as I know, Master Cue was one of the first cue makers in Thailand.
Now we have many others, Phoenix, Maximus, Ton Praram etc
I was wondering what's the story behind them, I suspect the cue makers of the likes of Maximus and/or others probably worked for other cue brands before ? but I am not sure. Seems logical but I don't know.
If anyone has some information about this, please share
(Note: I am not trying to start a thread as to which is better, just who are the people and history behind these companies)

I think it's all about supply, demand and then competition, I guess shipping lots of cues over there can become expensive so one clever bloke decided to learn to make them himself and sell them, the cues started selling well so other people jumped on the chance of making a few bob.
