good question, ive often wondered that myself, i always send my cue away to mike wooldridge to get my dents taken out, dont know how he does it though..... perhaps trevor will know?
umm - i know how i do it, but i am not too keen on giving that information in case a load of muppets wreck their cues! - trevor will know for sure, the question is will he tell you!

well, i have fill the dents with a little bit of wood fillers. after drying, i smooth sand with 00000 grade wirewool. following that, i finish it with oil and wax. work wonders for me though.
My advice would be to take it to someone who knows what they're doing.
The problem with giving ANY advice on a problem like this is:
1 - You can't see what the issue is exactly, or, the severity of the problem.
2 - You can't be sure of the persons ability in achieving a decent result.
3 - You can't be sure any instruction offered would be followed correctly.
It's a bit tricky to give a clear description of how to go about sorting a problem via mail or phone. This type of knowledge is more of a tacit skill, (one which has to be seen, and shown, to be learnt effectively).
Sorry if that doesn't help you Wink, I'm not being evasive, just honest.
