Hi all. Can anyone help settle a dispute between me and my mate regarding my raper and sons horace lindrum champions cue. I'm adamant it's handmade and he reckons machine made. It's a one piece 16oz.

Any pics ??
Read this to help you, if the splices are pointy it's machine made, if curved it's hand made

I had a little smile and thought that both of you could be right - in a fashion
have a look at these two cues
http://www.oldcues.co.uk/index.php?i...&player=horace lindrum
the top cue is machine-spliced ebony onto the shaft with hand-spliced front splices;
the bottom cue is hand-spliced ebony onto the shaft with hand-spiced front splices.
are either like your cue?, these two have the younger picture; there is another version with an older image of his bust (no cue), again you can have both machine- and hand- spliced butt-wood, with hand-spliced front splices.
you need over 10 posts on TSF to use the attachment feature; but you can use photobucket-type sites at anytime and copy/paste the IMG code to display your images in your postsUp the TSF! :snooker:
