Can we really judge the right spec cue for each of us?

its got to be difficult to guess what will suit you best you could get the dimentions identical to a cue you have tried but one piece of ash might be stiff as a poker another piece may be whippy when i want a new cue i've had my current cuecraft for over 10 years so thats not often i prefer to go to as many retailers as possible and pick them up and see how they feel in the hand for me if it has some whip in it and feels right i can adjust to it sadly there seem to be less small sports shops with cues for sale in my locality if you shop online it may look prety but if it feels wrong you will have doubt in your mind on every shot not a good thing
