              Mate buy a new cue. Woods cues do up to 62 inches

                A cue length is something personal.

                I think it depends on your cue action and technique - eg. bridge length and where you hold on a cue and arm length. Mark Selby is quite tall has a long bridge at times yet his cue is 57 inches long. This is good enough for most people in my opinion. Learning to get more compact is better than compensating for technique by getting a longer cue but its up to the individual.
