My cue turned out too short

Gents,
I picked up a cue when I was really making my first steps in snooker. Now I realize that I wish my TW was just 2 inch longer. Please suggest what are the options besides the obvious one - sell your cue and get a new one!

How long (or short) is the cue?

Options:
(1) have cue extended.
(2) buy new cue.
(3) borrow a cue

(1) this is always possible, by adding new splices to the butt; but the cue may never be the same as the weight and balance can change.
(2) buy a new cue of the required length, so saving the old cue to go back to if all else fails
(3) borrow a cue of the required length and see how you get on, before doing either (1) or (2)

What size did u pick ? Most specs are 57 \58 but cant go wrong with either ! Only option is ask trever to make it larger or sell ?

Just 2" ehh, that's massive !
Well what sort of design is it ? one piece or 3/4
If one piece then the butt can be overspliced to give the extra length you require.
If a 3/4 cue the same can be done, or a new longer butt made. If the butt is already very fancy and you didn't want to lose the design then maybe a new shaft could be the way to go.

57 is stanerd specs i would play with it and give yourself time to get used to how it plays and feels then see how you feel later

57" is not short for a cue, unless you are well over 6-foot tall, even then...

Do you play with a very straight bridge arm?

Yes, I'd straighten my arm in full for consistency

I found that playing with a straight bridge arm became uncomfortable and painful, so returned to a slightly bent at the elbow and all became much more comfortable and I could concentrate better.

I would try to find a 59" cue to borrow before doing anything else, and then next buy a cheap cue at that length, and leave your TW (Trevor White/Tony Wilshaw?) cue as is
