  • Advice on new cue pls

Hi all, I'm looking for some advice please on what cues to consider that fall within my price budget of £50ish. Details of makes/models please.

I used to play quite a bit of snooker when I was in my young teens and my old Powerglide World Champs special has since been lost. I am starting back up again some 10 yrs later and would like to buy the best cue I can for the budget that is of reasonable quality. I would rather not go for a BCE/Riley cue, as even with my limited knowledge of cues, I know these are not that great.

Any advice would be appreciated, I know this is not a massive budget but there must be some reasonable quality cues available for this price.

Are second hand cues worth considering on ebay? If so, again, which brands to look for. Links also if any worth looking at for auction right now.

That is quite low and anything you get for that on ebay will be a little bit of a gamble. But here's a few things to look at.

Hi, ive just bought a Peradon Esprit cue for £35 including P&P with a free Peradon case worth 15 quid. If u can push your budget up to £55 you should consider Peradon Crown cue from topcue.co.uk as I was recommended this cue by their staff but I decided to go for a cheaper cue with the intention of replacing it with a better cue in the future. Peradon Crown 2 Piece - £49 and 3/4 split costs £54. Also the cue i've recommended is made in England.

        I think all Peradons are.
